Jim Ammeen began his career as law clerk at the Indiana Supreme Court. He entered private practice with a large law firm in the commercial and bankruptcy practice areas, where he focused on litigation and dispute resolution. As his practice matured, he developed his business transaction practice. Since opening Ammeen & Associates, P.C., he broadened his practice further, adding electoral and political law, civil rights litigation, family and domestic law, and estate and probate litigation and administration.
Jim has an entrepreneurial nature. He looks to solve problems and promote partnership. His versatility as a lawyer is exhibited by the diversity of his clients and cases.
Jim's background includes the study of philosophy, history, and foreign languages. He serves on the Board of Directors of non-profit organizations that provide services to people of low income and that promote international relations, among other things. He seeks to assist people and businesses in service to betterment of the community and nation.
